On 18 November 2010, Canadian Thompson Rivers University mission headed by Presidents Roger Barnsley and Alan Shaver visited SIT. President Lu Guanzhong and Vice President Ye Yinzhong met with the delegation and exchanged views for further cooperate with each other.
In the course of the meeting, both the parties expressed their satisfactions to the current cooperations and wish to further expand the projects to the other relevant disciplines through the exchanges of both teachers and students from the existing joint programs.
After the meeting, Vice President Ye Yinzhong accompanied the delegation to visit the School of Economics and Management and presented the scholarship awards to the 18 students who registered with the joint “marketing” program for the year of 2007-2009. (Lili Lu)
